Dear students,
VED family welcomes you all to the doorstep of your career, the senior secondary education. “Change doesn’t necessarily assure progress, but progress implacably require change. Education is essential to change, for education creates both new wants and the ability to satisfy them.” The famous American historian Henry Steele Commager said so. Education is that key of life, which unlocks door of innumerable opportunities in life as well as acts as the driving force for the economic growth of a country. The senior secondary education is like the door for multiple opportunities waiting for you in the near future. Therefore, government too has given special emphasis on the education of this level with special highlights and textbooks which can give students practical knowledge of the surroundings. Instead of learning from theories, learning by doing is what the current trend of internationally accepted effective mode for education. Unfortunately very less number of institutions are there who cater this urgent need at this early stage of learning.
Visionary Educational Development society is committed for societal development through educational services. VEDs is associated with academician from IITs, NITs as well as renowned universities and experts from leading industries and various organisations. Under the guidance, support and advice from the experts, VEDs had given birth to VED academy (currently VED senior secondary school) in 2017. Earlier VED academy was only aiming to deliver quality science education at HS level with modern art of teaching, learning methodology. The institute has already developed an advanced laboratory to go in line with the learning by doing strategy. Apart from normal classes, coaching for various national level competitive examinations are also made available under the same roof. For students of arts stream also, well equipped library with large number of resources are already made available in the institute. The academy has been carrying out regular career counselling sessions through experts from IITs, various central and state universities, IISERs, PSUs and other organisations.
The regular and well qualified faculty team of VED consists of resources from IITs, NITs and various central and state universities. Moreover, the institute is programmed with ‘learn from the learned’ where we invite graduates from various well known institutions to teach students on their specialised areas.
The never ending process of learning becomes more effective when students and teachers can have lively interaction at any time. Our academy assures you all about such friendly interaction regarding any topic of the study area. Even in cisis situations like the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, when teachers can’t interact with students physically, we have arranged for online classes and we have successfully progressed till the moment. In such arrangement faculties are also available 24×7 for clearing any doubts regarding the study matter. Also the institution has a friendly administrative body with whom guardians can interact very easily and actively.
I personally appeal all the HSLC appearing students who wants proper guidance regarding career after senior secondary education to join VEDs for better growth prospect.
